I want you to let go of everything that is stressing you out right now. I want you to take a deep breath, then another one, and another one. Sometimes a deep breath is all you can do in a situation. It is important to realize you cannot control everything; It's impossible.
If your a control freak like me, this might be hard to hear. But it's true, and once you start realizing it, life becomes easier. Trust me. I want you to write out a list of the things you can and can't control in your life. Now, for everything you wrote that you can control, branch out and make a plan on how you can make it better. This exercise will enable you to really see what you can control and how you can manage those things. Here is my list I made when I did the exercise above: Things I CAN Control:

I want you to STOP focusing on the things you cannot control, and start to focus on what you CAN control. You control the PRESENT, not the PAST or FUTURE:)
