As requested, here is what I ate today :) *I eat different stuff everyday, but this is just what I had yesterday. It may sound complicated to you, but it really isn't once you get into the habit of eating healthy. It becomes second nature. *If you have any questions about anything feel free to email me [email protected] Breakfast:So every morning I start off my day with hot lemon water. All i do is feel a mug with water and heat it up in the microwave for a minute. Then I squeeze half of a lemon it. I sip on that while i get dressed:) Then I had my "glowing skin avocado smoothie" SnackIn between classes I always get hungry, so today I packed two protein balls, an apple, and a bag of Skinny pop. I snacked on those before lunch. *I also drank a cup of coffee because I need some energy for the day haha LunchSo for lunch I like to make a big bowl of layers of different stuff. Today I layered the bottom with kale/ spinach, then I put a layer of quinoa, followed by some pinto beans, some steamed leftover veggies (carrots, brocolli, and califlower), and I topped it off with a piece of salmon. Too season I used Nutritional yeast, garlic powder, black pepper. Too get a little more healthy fats I sprinkled a tbs of chia seeds on top. Lol, I know your probably like Avery wth that's so complicatied, but honestly it doesn't take me more than 15mins to pack my lunch. I do it the night before. *quinoa takes so long to cook, so I buy these frozen packs of quinoa at "Whole Foods" that you put in the microwave for 3 1/2 mins * for the veggies I buy these steamable packs found at central market. They are in the produce section and are called "vegatable medley" *Also, sometimes I will use roasted veggies that I made at the beginning of the week or from dinner the night before SnackI had 3 organic turkey slices with some "Hope" hummus spread on them. What I do is lay the turkey slices out and then spread a layer of hummus on each of them. Then I roll them up, like you would turkey roll-ups. I also had two "Alyssa's Oatmeal cookies", and snacked on some fruits and veggies I had in my fridge. DinnerFor dinner I had some scrambled egg whites... I seasoned with black pepper and garlic. Then with that I made a big salad that I layered with a bunch of stuff (haha if you can't tell I love layering things.) In my salad i had kale at the bottom w japanese sweet potato, roasted brussel sprouts, avocado, carrots, and bell pepper on top :) i put some spices on top to season it and squeezed some lemon juice on it. SNackI had an apple with cinnamon sprinkled on it with two more oatmeal cookies!!
